Chrome trim at bottom of doors removal

The trim along the bottom of the body on these cars is in two rows - the bottom row is a single piece from front wheelwell to rear wheelwell; the top row is three pieces (front fender, front door, rear door).

The trim on this particular car hasn't fared well over the years, and will need pretty much a complete replacement. One piece is missing altogether, and most of the rest are damaged in varying degrees.

Here's the driver's door; one obvious large ding on the left side.

The door trim pieces are held on via bolts and clips passing through holes in the door. Just a matter of convincing these old rusty nuts to release their deathgrips, and popping what's left of the clips loose. The clips are all shot.

The trim piece removed. The rusty bits show where the clips were.

The back door trim is removed in similar style, and must be removed before tackling the garnish trim.
